The Oswego Village Board will return to in-person meetings this month.
Village Board President Troy Parlier says safety measures like social distancing and mask wearing will be required. There's also a plan if more people than are allowed in the current reopening phase show up.
Parlier says the village has been easing into reopening meetings to the public recently.
For those concerned about being out in public still, the meetings will still be streamed online. However, people won't be able to participate unless they show up in person.
The village reduced many of its in-person services in March along with many cities across Illinois due to the coronavirus pandemic. Most businesses have reopened with limited capacity. The number of cases in Kendall County and the rest of Illinois continue to increase. A Village Board Committee of the Whole meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at six at city hall.
