Kendall County 4-H Livestock Auction Returns to Traditional Format

Purchase quality animals that were raised and cared for by Kendall County 4-H members at the 2021 4-H Livestock Auction on Saturday, July 31 at 6 p.m. at the Kendall County Fairgrounds.

The Kendall County committee announced the event is scheduled to be a live, in-person auction. The sale will feature the 4-H show grand and reserve grand champions in beef, swine, sheep, poultry, rabbits, goats, and dairy production, as well as more 4-H projects in beef, swine, and sheep.

Due to the pandemic, the 2020 program shifted to a sponsorship drive to help youth offset their expenses in the absence of an auction.

“For those who were able to support our sponsorship drive last year to help the 4-H members, your generosity was greatly appreciated,” says Randy Rehberg, committee vice president. “We have hard-working 4-H kids in Kendall County, and this is our chance to show our support for them and pay it forward. We hope to see you all in the stands the night of the auction supporting the youth of Kendall County.”
