Chris “Blinky” Allen Bennett, 52, of Somonauk, IL. passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. He was born April 28, 1969 in Pontiac, MI. The son of Donald and Dolores (Kesterson) Bennett. He married Trisha Mueller on June 27, 2015 in Big Rock, IL. He was a truck driver for over 25 years. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, and working on automobiles. He was known for cooking, his famous cheesecake and pig roast. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Trisha Bennett, his children Chris (Megan) Bennett II, Harley Bennett, and Aajay Bennett; Five grandchildren, Austin, Devin, Michael, Joseph, and Madelyn; Two brothers, Carl (Cindy) Bennett and Lee Bennett; One sister Sue Holifield; One Aunt, Helen Mac Dermaid; Four nieces and several cousins; In-Laws, Ken and Diane Mueller; One brother and sister-in-law Dan and Tammy Mueller.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. with Pastor David Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a fund being established.
