David Adams, 51, of Millington lost his battle with COVID-19 on Saturday, September 25th. He fought hard but this invisible beast won.

David worked in the manufacturing industry for 30 years, 21 of those as an industrial spray painter. He loved making vehicles look brand new whether it was a custom paint job, detailing or paint correction. He took pride in his excellent work. For the past 9 years he worked for Vactor Manufacturing in Streator where he was lovingly referred to as “Super Dave”.

David enjoyed golfing, working on cars, and participating in car shows or going for leisurely cruises with Lori in his Mustang GT500.

David is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lori (Davis) Adams, his 2 children Julina (Jonathan Luehmann), and Jaylon (Krysta Watts); His parents Keith and Sharon Cripe, Dave (Connie) Adams, mother in law Tina Davis, sisters in law Teresa (Ken) Duffin, and Valerie (John) Martin, Brothers Brian Cripe and Jay Adams, sister Annette Hoover, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, special mention Dollie Cummins and brother Dan Adams.

David did not want official services, so the family will be having a very casual celebration of life on Saturday, October 2nd at 1:00 pm. Check Lori’s FB page or contact a family member for details.  For more information or to sign the online guest book go to
