June Lesko, 60, of Somonauk, IL passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 4, 1961 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Charles and Bernadine (Kormaniak) Formanek. She married James H. Lesko Jr. on July 4, 1981 in Chicago, IL. She enjoyed sewing, camping, and baking. June took much pride in her Lemonade Shake Up stand at the Sandwich Fair. She just finished up a sewing project with her granddaughter for the 2021 Sandwich Fair and ended up taking first place. June would often host parties for her family and friends. Her greatest love was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband James H. Lesko Jr. of Somonauk, IL; three sons, James (Neikeia) Lesko, III of Sandwich, IL, Anthony (Olivia) Lesko of Sandwich, IL, and Joshua (Cassandra) Lesko of Sheridan, IL; eight grandchildren; one sister, Catherine (Scott) Kappeler of Somonauk, IL; one brother, Timothy Formanek of Fayetteville, NC; one sister-in-law, Sue Ann Formanek of Streator, IL; one brother-in-law, James Ward of Chicago, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Teresa Ward and two brothers, John and Russell Formanek.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL with Father Kevin Butler officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Somonauk, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL.
