Linda L. Ciesielczyk, “Nani”, 75, of Somonauk, peacefully went to be with the Lord on November 18,2022, with the love of her family surrounding her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Edward; son, Clifford C. (Gina) Ciesielczyk of Somonauk;  daughter, Billie Mae (Steve) Marko of Marseilles; grandchildren, Janine (Scott), Sarah, Grace (Jacob),  Clifford J., Eli, Justin, Emma, Miranda, Raven, William (Ariel), Richard, Kylie (Kyle), Cody; great-grandchildren, Brynnlee, Lexie, Sadie, Haven, Todd; sisters, Antionette, Mary; brother, William (Loni), as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Dorothy Brehm and her niece Stephanie.

She married her soulmate and best friend in November of 1965. Linda was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nani to her 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Nani loved all animals; especially her Boston terrier; Buster. Some of the things she enjoyed most were horseback riding, fossil hunting, baking, exploring God’s creations in nature, and collecting bugs and rocks. Serving God, her family, and those around her was always her top priority. She had a servant’s heart and always made those around her feel special and loved.

Her life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verses,

Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you.”

Linda battled with Parkinson's disease for over 10 years. Despite all of the severe challenges she faced, she was able to live a happy and fruitful life.

The family would like to have donations made in her honor to: The Parkinson’s Foundation, FL: 200 SE 1st Street, Ste 800, Miami, FL 33131, USA. For more information or to sign the online guestbook please go to www.EighnerFuneralHomes.com
