Patricia Ann Taxis, 78,  of Plano, IL passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, IL. She was born July 13, 1942 in Morris, IL the daughter of Robert and Gladys (Akre) Jurney. She married Robert Taxis on June 22, 1963 in Plano, IL. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Plano, IL. Patricia was an avid Cubs and Bulls fan. She enjoyed word search puzzles and singing in the Church Choir. Her greatest love of all was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Robert of Plano, IL; one daughter, Marcy (Tim) Ayers of Sandwich, IL; two sons, Doug (Mandy) Taxis of Sandwich, IL and Steve (Melanie) Taxis of Sandwich, IL; eight grandchildren, Christopher Haws, Erin Blanchard, Logan Taxis, Evan Taxis, Bailee Taxis, Braxtin Taxis, Dougie Taxis, and Finley Taxis; three great grandchildren, Mason, Devon, and Jaxson; one sister, Judy (Ron) Severson of Newark, IL; one brother, Roger (Linda) Jurney of Oswego, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lee Jurney.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL with Pastor Terry Jensen officiating. Burial will follow at Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
