Tom Anthony Haymes, age 70 of Earlville, IL passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at his home.  He was born on September 25, 1950 in Chicago, IL, the son of Jack and Rosemarie (Benca) Haymes.

Mr. Haymes was united in marriage to Jeanie Verdone on July 20, 1991. They spent the past 29 years happily married.  Tom was a devoted long time member and past president of the Northside Black Pistons Motorcycle Club.  He was a proud business owner for many years of Tom’s Painting and Decorating in Berwyn, IL. Tom was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Tom is survived by his wife, Jeanie Haymes of Earlville, IL; his sons, Jeffrey (Marina) Haymes of Countryside, IL, Thomas A. (Pili) Haymes of Plainfield, IL, and Joseph (Jennifer) Haymes of Woodridge, IL; his daughter, Brittany Margolis of Lake Zurich, IL; his step-daughter, Melissa Zintak of West Liberty, IA; his fifteen grandchildren; his brothers, Gary Haymes and Jack (Gale) Haymes; his sisters, Bonnie Ignarski, April (Cliff) Lindquist, and Penny Kopec; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Haymes was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Rosemarie Haymes; his daughter, Tracy Lynn Haymes; his step-sons, David Dowdy and Anthony Greco; and his sister, Marie Parker.

Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd., Lombard, IL.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Knollcrest Funeral Home in Lombard, IL. Interment will follow the service in Fairview Memorial Park, Northlake, IL.
