Sandwich Plano 250

The Interstate 8 announced their All-Conference basketball teams recently.  Players were selected at 1st Team All-Conference and Honorable mention All-Conference.  

Sandwich had their senior standout Josie Ness selected as a Unanimous 1st Team selection.  Ness went over 1000 points in her career this season ending her outstanding career with 1009 points.  In her career the Sandwich Lady Indians went 79-29 in games she played in, that is a Sandwich Record for Girls Basketball players.  

For the Plano Reapers boys team junior Mason Accidentale was a Unanimous lst Team selection.  He has been a varsity player since his freshman year and is one of the best players in the area.  He averaged about 20 points per game even though the Reaper's opponents often double or tripled him all game long.

Claire Roberts and Jacob Heilemeier, both seniors at Sandwich HS, received Honorable Mention selections.  Kayah Myles and Rachel Martinez from Plano received Honorable Mention status in their senior seasons.  For the Reapers boys team junior Tristian Canfield also was awarded with an Honorable Mention award.

Anthony Cooper a senior from Ottawa was named the I-8 MVP for the boys and juniors Faith Feuerbach and Ella Shipley from Sycamore shared the girls all I-8 MVP award.
